Yomi® Robotic Surgery

Dr. K uses the Yomi® – guided implant system to place dental implants with enhanced accuracy. The Yomi® dental robot uses CBCT scans of the patient’s jawbone, remaining teeth, and surrounding soft tissues to create a “roadmap” indicating the optimal location for each implant. Yomi® improves accuracy, minimizes patient time in the dental chair, and reduces postoperative discomfort and bleeding.

Robot-assisted dental implant procedures allow smaller implants and incisions to be used for less trauma to the jawbone and gums. Dr. K controls the Yomi® robot throughout the process. How the Yomi® Dental Robot Assists in Dental Implant Placement

Yomi® uses CBCT imaging to guide the surgeon’s hand to the appropriate location for each implant, indicating the precise angle and depth for perfect placement. Yomi® stabilizes the surgeon’s hand and monitors patient movement, adjusting accordingly for safety. Once proper implant depth is reached, the robot pauses drilling. Visual and audio cues are displayed on a chair-side monitor for complete control throughout the dental implant procedure.
